RSL LifeCare has proudly served Australia for over 110 years with its origins at Bare Island at Botany Bay in 1911 and has been caring for Australia’s war veterans and seniors ever since. Presently, the organisation has 3,500 staff providing care and services to 9,500 people with a purpose to enrich veterans’ and seniors’ lives.
A leader in senior living, RSL LifeCare provides high quality personal home care, retirement villages, and aged care homes across 56 sites, throughout NSW and the ACT – creating proud communities, living their best lives. RSL LifeCare also provides a holistic and veteran-centric set of services, aimed at supporting veterans and their families make the transition from active service in the defence force into civilian life amongst local communities.
RSL LifeCare is the partner charity of RSL NSW, the charity that supports veterans and their families. Since 2021, RSL NSW sub-Branches have donated over $5.2 million to RSL LifeCare to support the delivery of free services to veterans and their families including assistance with Department of Veterans’ Affairs claims, advocacy at the Veterans’ Review Board, holistic wellbeing assessment and support, an employment program, housing and homelessness assistance, and equine therapy.
