Covid Care Homes restrictions eased in England: What this means for you

From Monday 31st January, limits on the number of visitors in care homes will be lifted as government data shows that 86.5% of residents in care homes have had their booster jab.

The move to ease restrictions will mean that there will be no limit to the number of visitors allowed in care homes and self-isolation periods will be reduced, allowing friends and family to visit their loved ones. Essential caregivers will be able to keep visiting residents even during a Covid outbreak.

For businesses and care home managers, this news is welcomed with Covid restrictions and long self-isolation periods having been some of the reasons for the inability to keep up with staffing ratios and provide employment opportunities.

From March 2022 employers at care homes and other healthcare organisations can meet new health and social care professionals face to face at the Healthcare Job Fairs all over the UK and Ireland. The Healthcare Job Fairs connect all Health, Medical, Nursing and Social Care professionals and employers transforming the way people recruit and job search.

We look forward to welcoming you to one of our job fairs near you. To view our full list of events for 2022, please visit the following page: https://healthcarejobfair.com/events/.
