We are RDWA, or Rural Doctors Workforce Agency, in South Australia.
The rural and remote primary health care workforce is the heart of country South Australia, ensuring rural communities have the healthcare they need and deserve.
Our job is to support this workforce.
We do this through programs, grants and services that attract, train, recruit and retain the workforce, and by providing an extensive range of specialist Outreach programs that increase access to services locally.
We never give up on finding a way for SA’s rural and remote communities to access the health care they need.
As a not-for-profit organisation our workforce attraction, recruitment, medical professional development, and outreach services are made possible through funding from the SA Regional Local Health Network and the Australian Government Department for Health and Aged Care.
