After an unprecedented twenty months for healthcare professionals, the Healthcare Job Fair made its long-anticipated return to Dublin’s RDS on Saturday 16 October. For the team who have run this event since 2015, this offered a glimmer of hope to a return to normality.

The 2021 Healthcare Job Fair saw a complete rebrand of its event, connecting all Nursing, Medical, Allied Health and Social Care Professionals directly to over forty employers from Ireland, the UK and Australia. 

A variety of leading employers were present on the day and we welcomed the return of some familiar faces to include the RCSI Hospital Group, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, King’s College Hospital, North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust and St Patrick’s Mental Health Services. We also were joined by two new Australian employers, Hall & Prior Aged Care and Southern NSW Local Health District. Due to Covid-19 travel restrictions they each had a dedicated client ambassador representing their brand but were able to view candidate applications in real time. 

One of the key highlights of this event was the launch of “Healthdaq®”, our new applicant management platform, leading to the digitisation of healthcare recruitment. Prior to attending the event, candidates were invited to create their profile, allowing employers to easily scan and retrieve their information with their own personalised QR code. 

Building your Healthdaq® profile is simple, allowing candidates to create their own Healthfolio®, uploading supporting documentation and highlighting their skills. In addition, the platform enables candidates to manage their job search including setting reminders and alerts, and allows their profile to be visible to any employer on our hiring platform. 

For employers, signing up to Healthdaq® allowed them to have complete visibility of candidates by scanning their QR code. The leads captured at the event will now enable employers to build their talent pools by inviting candidates to join their profile, track candidates’ progress, review, and hire them.
